A comprehensive consultation including history taking, assessment, clinical testing, footwear assessment and diagnosis. At times, we may either perform an in-house ultrasound scan or refer you for further imaging.
We find that many of our patients have tried to manage their symptoms; however, rarely have they had in-depth assessments and investigations to establish the root cause and an accurate diagnosis.
Our expert podiatrists commence treatment at this first consultation. We assess the cause of your heel pain, and create a personalised treatment plan, tailored to you, your symptoms and your lifestyle.
Shockwave therapy is appropriate for tendon, fascia and muscle pathology, however there are times it may be contra-indicated. It his is the case, your podiatrist may suggest alternative treatment options.
